5 3/4″ X 4″, 283 pages + fold out examples of forms of instruction, sadly I do not understand French. but I believe this is the book issued to the horse soldiers and keepers within the French army, 1st published 2nd Nov 1833 this copy being 1873, it is in very good condition but front hinge is weak. THIS IS A VERY RARE SURVIVOR ESPECIALLY IN THIS CONDITION
