In view of the steadily growing interest in this pastime and the constant demand for information on harnessing and driving, we believe that the re-issue of this practical little book will make an important contribution towards a better understanding and greater enjoyment of the niceties of “handling the ribbons”.
Nothing has been considered too trifling to explain, and it is hoped that these hints may be especially useful to the beginner, as well as a valuable reference book for the expert.
It is simple, practical and instructive. So far as the delicate art of handling the ribbons can be taught by a book, this book succeeds to the best effect in teaching it.
