Fawcett, 1st edition 1935, here we have a record of how the various breeds looked in 1935, The Rouch studio’s were the premier equestrian photographers and supplied pictures to many leading magazines and newspapers, I recall Tom Ryder telling me that much to his regret he turned down all the glass plates as at the time he had no storage for them, what an archive that would have been, most breeds if not all seem to be covered some more than once Shetlands and Welsh, cover a little grubby but inside is clean
